Description of bespoke package of Care:
Assistance with mobility is essential for individuals who have difficulty moving around due to age, injury, illness, or disability. Maintaining mobility is crucial for independence and overall well-being. Our Personal Care Assistants can offer various forms of support to help individuals with their mobility needs, ensuring their safety and comfort while moving around within their home or in the community.
Assistance with Transfers:
Our Personal Care Assistants can assist individuals in safely transferring from one surface to another, such as from a bed to a chair, a wheelchair to a toilet, or a wheelchair to a vehicle.
Walking and Ambulation:
Our Personal Care Assistants can provide support for individuals who require assistance while walking, using mobility aids such as walking frames, Zimmer frame, etc.
Wheelchair and Mobility Device Management:
If an individual uses a wheelchair or other mobility device, our Personal Care Assistants can help with positioning, manoeuvring, and maintaining the equipment.
Exercise and Mobility Training:
Our Personal Care Assistants can guide individuals through prescribed exercises to improve strength, balance, and mobility. This may involve physical therapy routines.
Fall Prevention:
Our Personal Care Assistances can implement strategies to reduce the risk of falls, such as clearing pathways, removing tripping hazards, and using assistive devices.
Community Mobility:
Our Personal Care Assistants can accompany individuals on outings and appointments, providing support while navigating outside the home.
Assistance with Transferring In and Out of Vehicles:
Our Personal Care Assistants can help individuals get in and out of vehicles, ensuring proper positioning and safety.
Assistance with Mobility Aids:
Our Personal Care Assistants can provide assistance with using mobility aids effectively and safely.
